Sculptors Dominion International, Inc. is an annual 3D educational exhibit and sale called The Sculptors Invitational. Each invitational specializes in “big” sculpture. Professional Sculptors are talent-rich from local regions, multiple states and nations. New exhibits begin the first weekend of each April and continue the remaining weekends of the month; thereafter by appointment.
My Broken Heart
is constructed from two lengths of dozer track and rests on bases which are the wheel sprockets which those tracks run on.
Flat Curl
was salvaged from an old sawmill. The logs would be placed on it and then be drawn into the mill for cutting. The base is a wheel sprocket off a dozer.
Red Hanging Tank
was a hydraulic tank which had lain on the ground until there was significant rusting on one side and end. I sectioned it and attached pieces of tire snow chains to rejoin the sections. The red color is the original paint.
